Azamara Journey

Whether you’re looking to escape the holidays or celebrate them in style, this is your ticket.

Take your time uncovering the beautiful 16th century walled city of Cartagena. Relax at one of the many open-air cafés, take a horse-and-carriage ride, and dance to live music on one of the plazas.

The stories of The Panama Canal’s construction are beyond belief, and you’ll hear them as we navigate our way through this marvel of engineering. Then celebrate Christmas Day at sea as we sail to the dense rainforests and pristine beaches of the Golfo Dulce. While in Puntarenas take a boat ride through mangroves, a jungle cruise, or a catamaran ride to Tortuga’s incredible beaches.

Visit beautiful colonial Granada from San Juan del Sur, then take a boat ride through Lake Nicaragua. From Puerto Quetzal, you won’t want to miss Antigua, a town dramatically nestled between volcanoes.

Zihuatanejo retains a quaint charm in palapa-style restaurants and folk art galleries. Ixtapa, its sister next door, is a famous resort, known for its beautiful bay and luxury shops. Then there’s Cabo, with endless white sand beaches and over-the-top nightlife. Don’t worry, you’ll have two full sea days to recover before we reach LA.
